On 19 April the IRIS project will be presented at the IEFE Observatory on the Green Economy of the Bocconi University within the Management table.
The Observatory is a dynamic platform for research and in-depth analysis that deals with the Green Economy trends according to two main interpretations – Policy and Management – to which two different working tables, integrated and in strict synergy, are dedicated. The first working table is dedicated to the analysis of, on the one side, the evolution of the policies for the support and development of the Green Economy and, on the other side, of trends in the sectors directly involved. The second working table focuses on the strategies and tools at a firm’s Management disposal to seize the opportunities offered by the Green Economy.
In particular, the Management table will study in depth the “The mapping and assessment tools of climate-related risks for companies”. In this context, the methodology for assessing the climate risk for companies developed within the LIFE IRIS project will be presented firstly, secondly the CAST software tool for assessing the climate risk for companies, also developed within the project scope, and finally some possible adaptation measures to climate change for risk prevention to the organization and impacts reduction on business.
